Voice calls and the support log

Talk to FACE

The calling page (/calling) opens a live voice conversation with FACE’s voice agent in your browser. To open it, go to Today’s Command and select Voice chat in the AI Command bar.

The page states This call is recorded and transcribed for control and quality purposes. The transcript is kept with this session for reference.

### Start the call Select **Start call**. Allow microphone access when your browser or device asks. The status line reads **Connecting…**, then **In call — listening**. ### Speak The transcript fills in as you talk, with each turn labelled **Caller** or **Agent**. While the agent answers, the status reads **Agent speaking…**. ### Interrupt, mute or hang up - **Stop the agent** cuts the agent off in the middle of a reply. - **Mute microphone** / **Unmute microphone** switches your microphone off and on. - **End call** hangs up. Leaving the page also ends the call.

The status is announced to screen readers as Call status: {status}. The possible values are Ready to call, Connecting…, In call — listening, Agent speaking…, Call ended and Call failed. When a call fails, the reason appears under the status.

Support Log

The Support log button in the calling page’s title bar opens Support Log (/support_log). It lists one card per call, newest first. Each card shows the call id, the source, the start time, the duration and the number of entries. The call in progress is marked Live.

Every turn and call event is written to the log, for example Call started and Microphone muted. What this console keeps at the top of the page states what is retained:

  • Voice-call transcripts are stored on the server and survive a restart.
  • Call audio is transcribed as it arrives and then discarded. No recording is kept, so there is nothing to play back.
  • SMS and WhatsApp messages are not recorded.

Copy as Markdown copies the whole log. The copy button on a card copies that one call. With nothing to show, the page reads No interactions recorded yet.

RPCs behind these pages

  • CallingService.Signal, EndCall.
  • SupportService.RecordSupportEvent, ListSupportLog.
